Planning your future career usually starts very early in life. Think back to when you were a young child… What were you dreaming of becoming one day? The President of the United States? A famous athlete? Or maybe an engineer? Midwest Engineered Systems Inc., an innovative provider of premier custom machines and integrated systems, understands the benefit of teaching students about engineering careers and was proud to welcome 12 middle school students from Lake Country School.
The Lake Country Middle School students are involved in a Robotics program that consists of 12 students. The team designs and builds a robot to complete certain functions, and compete with other student teams. They work together on the mechanical and electrical functions to reach the desired result. This program gives students real-world engineering experience such as: problem solving, communication, team collaboration, and so much more.
Midwest Engineered Systems was privileged to help educate this group by conducting a tour of its facility today. CEO Scott Woida, discussed the way MWES grew into existence as well as the major part engineers play in the success of the business.
In addition, students were able to tour our 100,000 sq ft headquarters where they were able to witness automation projects in action.
Midwest Engineered Systems Inc. is committed to providing simple solutions to complex automation problems. Our engineering staff has technical expertise that includes a diverse knowledge base, building thousands of custom automation systems over the last 24 years.
