Comprehensive Hands-on training at MWES
Midwest Engineered Systems offers equipment training courses to your team, to help ensure that your equipment keeps running efficiently while increasing the life of your systems. We offer standard and specialized training which can be tailored to your operation’s specific needs. We conduct formal and informal training sessions at either your facility or our location in Waukesha, WI. This allows operators to practice and master the complexities of automation systems in a controlled environment. Operator Training
Our comprehensive hands-on system operator training program provides personnel with customized training, including but not limited to; machine start-up, robot jogging, and executing PLC and robot programs. Operators will learn about robot safety, basic safety precautions, controller and robot component identification, and common faults tailored for each custom application. By equipping operators with knowledge in operational aspects, electronic programming, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance, your organization can significantly enhance your operational excellence and reduce the risk of downtime.
Maintenance Training
Maintenance on your automation system is critical for ensuring the systems’ continued efficiency and longevity. Courses are designed to cater to various levels of expertise, from beginners to experienced technicians and engineers. Personnel will receive hands-on training in; identifying and troubleshooting fault conditions, troubleshooting robot and mechanical issues, replacing key mechanical components, and day-to-day preventative maintenance.
Programming Training
Our customers will be trained on how to select multiple programs, interface with systems on an operator and maintenance level, as well as troubleshoot to an extent of programming on the pre-robotic systems. This training allows the customer to interface with their equipment in case of functionality changes, a system crash or to perform general system maintenance.

For Current MWES Automation Systems Customers
When contacting us regarding system problems, please have the MWES project number. The project/serial number of this system is located on the main enclosure of the machine.
When contacting us regarding robot problems, please have the robot model number, serial number, specific part number of known faulty robot part and the error/fault message that may appear on the robot teach pendant.
We will provide preventative maintenance, service and parts for anyone’s equipment; whether it is an MWES machine or not.
